damn. was afraid of that. this may involve rather a lot of work.
going to have to read up on it, modelid and classid are things i haven't dealt with in a couple years.

ok, the mod has no modelids or classids specified whatsoever ... should be a matter of assigning some that don't conflict. (i'm actually surprised any cars worked online at all!)

Yeah, i gave it a look, tried adding the info to the mod files, but no luck. What did help though, was removing all but 1 of the cars ... BP and I tested the 330 this way, so I think there are internal conflicts within the mod.

After our testing we felt the car was bit too unpredictable for a league situation. Entertaining no doubt, but such a handful. If we did any serious duration our arms would fall out of their sockets, lol.

Suggested List:
- Porche SuperCup
- Muscle (race-spec Challenger is fine by me)
- Atoms
- 87 BMW or 08 Volvo?
- DTM (Enduro)

I'm more familiar with the Volvo than the BMW ... I think I'll put up a server that has the two on it, for back to back comparison.

(I know BP has quietly mentioned losing the Dodge if we can't decide, personally i'm reluctant ... I like that it's so different)

Ok ... seems like the 87 BMW is eliminated ... and 70Sebring adopted for the Enduro race w/DTM2010.

The Classic Mini would be pretty awesome ... but which would we sacrifice for it?

I would lean towards the Atom I guess ... given its sort of questionable "TC" nature.

Since we are shooting for June. Why don't we test some of the new cars and tracks? any thoughts?

The Ford GT in the power pack is a blast to drive! Engine sounds righteous as well!
The retro/vintage cars look nice as well. Available 4/30.

Will want some lead time in order to try and drum up some interest is my main concern but the obvious response to that is just push back the start date.

I also suspect using default content may help in recruitment...plus these will be fresh new items, keeps the series topical/relevant.

Steam has the retro pack availible for DL now.

I tried the vette and camaro last night for a few minutes......quite nice. Muscle car power with nice handling!!

These will be a nice addition.
