EA has (and i cant thank them enough for that) sent me a retail copy of BF2142, the same box you will see in the stores later on. With this nice little box, i could install the retail and start playing. EA also kindly put up a server, that was even ranked, so i already got a taste of our new drug in all its glory and i am hooked. At this point i am of the rank Master Corporal Gold and fast approaching my next rank. I have unlocked the most basic things that make my life easier, but i also ran into other that have unlcoked more specific things, like the advanced sniper rifle or the Baur H-AR. Of course i also got to do some dogtags hunting. In total 76 dogtags are in my collection so far and 31 of them are uniques. The game runs very smooth. Lots of small bugs that have been talked about in the forums, and are also present in the demo, do not manifest here. I could only see a weird "self tipping" of a battle walker and the moonwalking walkers, where they seem to glide rather than walk. All in all, very good and now with unlocks a whole different ball game. Oh and of course all maps. This means that the team of this page will update the content on the page now that the retail is avaialble drastically. You will see a lot of detail info cropping up, other things change or vanish. So in case you see something weird, just check the page again in 5 minutes and then report it if you think there is something wrong. We might just be working on it at that moment.
