Post by: rip|Dantes on February 11, 2007, 11:35:59 AM Has it ever worked guys? Because if not, I'd have to say that .swf or .png are probably not acceptable picture extensions here.
Just a guess. :| Title: Can someone fix my sig? Post by: rip|buzinator on February 11, 2007, 02:37:50 PM mofficer, try it without the quotes next time.
dude, when you get a valid url i'll think about helping you. Title: Can someone fix my sig? Post by: rip|Mofficer on February 12, 2007, 04:49:12 PM I tried without the quotes first, that didn't work. If I were to go and edit my sig right now the link would break and the image wouldn't show up. Its happened with both jpgs gifs and pngs
oh and thanks for fixing it. Title: Can someone fix my sig? Post by: stalk282 on February 12, 2007, 05:45:53 PM i can see your sig now
it says the leader of the hell squad Title: Can someone fix my sig? Post by: rip|buzinator on February 12, 2007, 06:02:31 PM weird, cuz all i did was remove the quotes.
i'll have to experiment with the phpbb setting some more. Title: Can someone fix my sig? Post by: rip|w33dy on February 14, 2007, 01:08:18 PM are we talkin Html format or bbc coding? the only one i can think of that uses the " is html. although i'm not too firmiliar with net codes i could be wrong.

Title: Can someone fix my sig? Post by: rip|greyhawk_00 on February 14, 2007, 09:43:24 PM Try going to image shack...upload your image...host your image and use "hot link for forums" format, then copy/paste it into signature area.
I used "hot link for forums 1". http://www.imageshack.us/ Title: Can someone fix my sig? Post by: rip|mrkavanagh on February 15, 2007, 10:53:05 AM i copied your link and put in mine and it works, see below

I used "hot link for forums 1". http://www.imageshack.us/ ok, well it still dosn't work. man i've never had this much trouble posting a sig before. i tried the hot link for forums both 1 and 2. i think officer mentioned using that site for his sig. huh, i guess i'm not ment to have a signature. so lame. Title: Can someone fix my sig? Post by: rip|Mofficer on February 15, 2007, 07:55:37 PM I've never been able to get mine to work myself. I've tried almost every combination of things, and no luck at all. The only time i get it to work is when I have someone with higher access edit my sig. They dont really have to edit anything just open it, and save it. Not sure why, but I know thats the only way i've been able to get it to show.
I'm thinking its related to access restrictions on our accounts or something along those lines. and w33dy I see your sig now, did you get it to do that yourself? Title: Can someone fix my sig? Post by: rip|w33dy on February 15, 2007, 08:38:28 PM yeah i noticed it works now as well. thanx whoever edited it for me.
moff - yeah i made it myelf....thats even me if you couldn't tell ;) now i just have to get my microphone to work. Title: Can someone fix my sig? Post by: rip|buzinator on February 16, 2007, 08:10:45 AM mofficer's right for some reason...still working on that.
are you guys attempting to change your sig via the "Accounts" button or the "Profile" button ... out of curiosity. shouldn't make a diff but who knows. Title: Can someone fix my sig? Post by: rip|w33dy on February 17, 2007, 03:28:40 PM uhh, the profile button is under the account button. ok nvm, i usedd the account button. i need to edit my sig so mabey i'll try to use he profile button to edit the tag.

Title: Can someone fix my sig? Post by: rip|Mofficer on April 04, 2007, 04:02:57 PM the HTML is

[img width= height=]http://stuff.ubersite.com/113716075934798635/1/catapultfull.gif[/img] You can go to http://stuff.ubersite.com/113716075934798635/1/catapultfull.gif and view the image, but i've tried the HTML "<img src>" tags and the BBcode "(http://)" tags and can't get the image to show in this thread. That means the site were it is located has disabled hot linking. Try right clicking the image and do a save as, then upload it to photobucket or other image hosting site then link to it. Title: Can someone fix my sig? Post by: rip|Mofficer on April 04, 2007, 05:04:33 PM lol im fuckin braindead today. Correcting HTML code incorrectly =/. Chief knows his stuff.
Title: Can someone fix my sig? Post by: Doc_Unitas on April 05, 2007, 09:11:08 AM nice! thanks for the help guys. got it to work.
Title: Can someone fix my sig? Post by: Gt_Ghost on April 16, 2007, 10:44:28 PM all i did was upload my sig on photobucket and then copy the link and paste.
NOT THAT HARD Title: still no luck.... Post by: rip|Vitalix on April 21, 2007, 09:34:38 AM Can't get mine to work. I have tried both forum links in imageshack. I also uploaded the file to photobucket and nothing.
Do I have to do anything to the link? This is driving me nuts. Title: Can someone fix my sig? Post by: rip|buzinator on April 21, 2007, 01:55:31 PM are you referring to your sig or avatar?
Title: Can someone fix my sig? Post by: rip|Vitalix on April 21, 2007, 04:48:14 PM My sig... Grey made me a cool "Medic vitalix" thingy and I want to use it.
I managed to get it as an avatar, but it looked rather silly. Title: Can someone fix my sig? Post by: rip|greyhawk_00 on April 21, 2007, 08:08:51 PM http://imageshack.us/
Go to image shack, click on browse, find image, upload it, select Hotlink for forums (1), highlight the entire line, right click, copy, go to home page of rip, click profile at very top of screen next to the little blue dot and above log in/out, scroll down to signature, right click and paste, scroll all the way down to submit. This worked for me on every pic I used. Good luck man. If you have anymore problems I can walk you through it on teamspeak. Title: Can someone fix my sig? Post by: rip|Vitalix on April 21, 2007, 10:13:00 PM I'll have to go through it with ya on teamspeak. Seems reeeeally easy but for some reason nothing. Fooey.
I managed to get it as an avatar. Don't know why I can't to this. 8O Title: Can someone fix my sig? Post by: rip|Vitalix on April 21, 2007, 10:13:15 PM Got it!
