Atoms: He's at it again! Lebowski returns to the championship lead. The fight for 2nd is ON.

Civics: Buz stretches his lead slightly, T3R rears it's ugly (but fast!) head.


Ariel Atom qualifying at the Monster Mile produced no hint of what was to come in the race. Buz, starting on pole rapidly fell to the rear of the field where traffic became an issue. After some intense opening laps of wheel to wheel racing, T3R_Norm blinked first - touching wheels with SaE_Matrix66 and starting a chain reaction that involved nearly half the field. A radio transmission from a yet-to-be-identified car was heard to exclaim, "Que faites-vous? Vous devez avoir vos yeux essayés ... l'idiot!!!".

The handful of drivers ahead of the carnage disappeared into the distance. With pitstops completed Lebowski found himself with the race lead, T3R_Jack_Feelsnerves and Jackal were unable to close the gap, despite the drafting advantage.

Congratulations to Lebowski on another inspirational performance, coming from the back to win his 2nd race in 3 outings!


The Type-R farewell race took place at Oran Park, a track where Jackal would ordinarily be expected to dominate. When interviewed in the bittersweet air before the race he shared, "I F***ing hate these piece of s**t cars!".

Off the line into turn 1 Buz was able to slip past Matrix and put some pressure onto Jack, who had started from pole. But Feelsnerves soon pulled away, achieveing the 2nd clean-sweep of Pole, Race Win & Fast Lap in Whoopass Racing Championship history.

Matrix almost recovered 2nd position exiting the pits to be side by side with Buz into turn 1, but being on the outside was unable to make the move and had to settle for 3rd place.

Norm, Kav & Jackal all discovered new and exciting ways to leave the track, while Lebowski parked it with what was mysteriously described as "an electronics issue".
