Title: im still alive after.. Post by: ajax on November 01, 2007, 12:10:33 PM A tour around the west coast USA :) So anyways, finally got back to home port, had some fun in seattle and san fran, mostly touristy stuff during the day and tail chasin' at night. While in Seattle I stopped off at the local fry's and picked up some parts of my new system in the works as they had some righteous deals on for RAM and what not and my current system can't be upgraded at all and its about 3-4 years old.
So far I've got the motherboard, ram and cpu: Abit AN9 32X Fatality SLI mobo (its got a lot of OC features and right excellent power handling) 4GB OCZ reaper heat pipe PC2 6400 (800GHz) dual channel (1GBx2)2 RAM (overclockable) AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+ Black Edition CPU (unlocked for overclocking) Their Video card prices were too high so I didn't get the video cards yet or the CPU heatsink, selection sucked for that. I also picked up Vista 64 premium as XP is on the way out unfortunately. Anyone know about any coupon codes or great prices for Nvidia 8800 GTX cards? Title: im still alive after..
