YOU UNLOCK IT after you defeat singleplayer!! you play coop agianst zombie hords, but theres more!! you can buy upgraded weapons....move the envirment couches etc..and put boards up on windows to stop the zombies!!!! They said many times over that it was a co-op... As far as I know there is no co-op mode for the PC. Fingers crossed for the zombie addicts .....
