Title: The Veterans Day Agent Orange Balloon Release
Post by: rip|CoyotezEye on November 05, 2008, 09:44:40 AM
As some of you may or may not know, I lost my father to cancer a few years back. His cancer was caused by a chemical that was sprayed during the Vietnam War. That chemical was called Agent Orange.

Since the government will not add Vets that died from Agent Orange to the Vietnam Wall, a widow started a Quilt. That quilt is called the Quilt of Tears. That quilt is now many quilts. My father has a patch on one of them.

To honor our Veterans that have died due to Agent Orange, we will be doing a Balloon release @ 1pm EST on Veterans Day (Tues Nov. 11th)
