Dang it's been a real long time hope you all are doing well. I got lost in Age of Conan with Falcon a while back. We've been playing ever since and now both have level 80 characters (the max level) and are doing raids and such. I haven't played much CoD because if I want to get my tailside kicked in I can get that at work for free. I'm also playing a decent amount of Fallout 3, waiting for Hearts of Iron III to come out, and also doing Medieveal: Total War on occasion. On top of all that, I've been busy with work and raising a four year old. This fall I apply for promotion and tenure, which is a big deal at a university and I have been working hard to make sure I stay employed. It's 'up or out' and out would really suck so I'm being careful. Also, I got an email from a colleague asking me to speak in Finland. Finland! So i beg off .. too expensive and all that... and she comes back telling me that thye school will pay for airfare and hotel. Holy smokes, I'm goin' to Finland! So I spend 2 weeks there touring and such and have lots of pictures and a travel journal. If you are interested in the pictures let me know and I can friend you on facebook. THe journal I can post here and it has oodles of details. Bottom line is Finland is no colder than anywhere else in the US. The only crappy thing is that in the winter it's gloooomy. Clouds all the time and that was depressing. Besides that the city is really nice looking and the countrysides are pristine. Totally safe in FInland and most people speak English. Good the hear from you. I, too, have recently returned after a long hiatus. I haven't started playing again yet because I'm settling into my new job soon and still have to construct a gaming rig, which won't take too long.
