Title: Re: GP Season 6 - Round 8 - Mexico City Post by: rip|ChITty on November 19, 2009, 09:47:01 PM This race falls on Thanksgiving eve and being that a lot of people travel for Thanksgiving, should we think about postponing this race to avoid potential conflicts?
Title: Re: GP Season 6 - Round 8 - Mexico City Post by: rip|buzinator on November 20, 2009, 07:18:45 AM Sounds reasonable to me ... is anyone opposed?

I'll race if it's on schedule just fine, but I don't mind either way. Title: Re: GP Season 6 - Round 8 - Mexico City Post by: Cawdor on November 20, 2009, 03:42:27 PM Postponing it is fine with me, no objections.

... Good riddance Hermanos Rodriguez!! Title: Re: GP Season 6 - Round 8 - Mexico City Post by: rip|ChITty on December 03, 2009, 09:55:37 AM Congrats EZ!!
And lets not forget poor Cawdor who has been getting so screwed this season! I suppose the positive is that he has like 5 kgs for Turkey now, so he's going to lap us all next week. Has that pit issue happened to you before Cawdor? Could it have been a keyboard key assignment issue? Title: Re: GP Season 6 - Round 8 - Mexico City Post by: Cawdor on December 03, 2009, 12:25:48 PM No it's never been an issue when I make the preset select my tires and save it. I've never been able to audible a tire change while pitting which is why I always decide before the race what I am gonna do and save the preset.
Sorry again for the restart, I could have been screwed over by that bug that didn't allow me to take off on the grid. All I did to save time was exit and rejoin, I should of shut the game down completely. I'm not worried about it.... this type of luck is nothing I'm not used to. On to Turkey.... Title: Re: GP Season 6 - Round 8 - Mexico City Post by: Ezeon on December 03, 2009, 01:43:51 PM Thanks all, good race, did not think I had a chance to win at the start.
Glad its over, those Esses are tough to get right. Title: Re: GP Season 6 - Round 8 - Mexico City Post by: rip|buzinator on December 03, 2009, 03:46:01 PM Yh, the esses never seemed to end.
I hadn't realized Cawdor didn't restart the game ... i guess it probably was related glitch then. what pain in the ass. hopefully we won't see any repeats of that kind of thing. hmmmm, yes, 5kg ballast ... I think we're all in trouble! |
