I assume because any quad core would work..... I am hoping that my Dual Core will work. BTW what the hell is the difference between a Core 2 duo and a Dual core. Shit they both have two cores ??? Title: Re: PC Specs for BC2 and 1943 Post by: rip|forkev on December 03, 2009, 02:28:59 PM Well I thought a quad core was better for multitasking (running multiple programs etc) and not as good for gaming. ?? But if you had 4 - 2.0 GHz processors that would be better than 2 - 2.0 GHz processors.
I believe the Core 2 Duo is the newer technology to the Dual Core. Basically the same but not really - considering the chip set. I don't think Intel makes the Dual Core anymore.?? But if you had 4 - 2.0 GHz processors that would be better than 2 - 2.0 GHz processors. that was the case early on, but now they are developing the games to spread the process out over multiple cores what is your current processor?
