Post by: rip|mrkavanagh on February 04, 2010, 08:42:45 AM
My max price is $600

I am currently running a Pentium D 2.8, 2 gigs of ddr2 ram, and a 9600 gtx w/ 1gig of ddr2.

My frame rate is around 30 in BFBC2

I found this at Cyber Power PC

Is it good for the price?

Im kind of surprised you can even play BF:BC2 on your current machine.

I take it you dont want to build one yourself?

Im not the most technical guy here so take what I say with a grain of salt :)

Overall that looks like a decent computer. You probably will want to add a sound card. Usually onboard sound sucks IMO. Do you already have a good mouse & keyboard?

I think the video card (ATI 4350) leaves a lot to be desired. can you order without and just slap your 9600GT in there?

I suppose you could sell it on ebay or something to get some money back if not.

yeah i am surprised too, but my pc plays MW2 at max settings with 60-70fps

I have a Lycosa keyboard and a generic mouse, sound has never been an issue for me, seeing how I wear headphones 95% of the time

Yeah I was just going to slap that video card into the old machine and vise versa....

I thought about just buying a new PSU and video card but that could end up costing just as much. I think my cpu is the limitations that is giving me trouble with BC2
