I think they've chosen a great period to cover in this one. It has the best cinematography of cars i have ever seen and it was the first to do many of the shots you see in modern films today. It followed the real life 65 F1 season, but used different names and actors for the characters. Many of the shots you see are from the actual F1 races. Lots of great on board footage of the old circuits.

I caught a sweet documentary a couple of months ago called "Love the beast". It was about actor Eric Bana and his highschool mates than built a car for one of the targa's in Aus or NZ. Good story and great cinematog and POV. It was REALLY good!! |
