Title: I need some Codec help Post by: rip|mrkavanagh on April 23, 2010, 09:35:08 AM Codecs Confuse me, big time. Right now I have the following installed
Divx/Divx Player CCCP http://www.cccp-project.net/ and whatever my ATI-eHome Wonder requires. Problem is that everything works except DAMN media center. My kid can't watch tv. It will work once. Then after you exit and open it again it says codec not found. Now get this, I can access the ATI device through the "media player classic" that comes with CCCP Is there a way I can start from scratch? Clean all the codecs off the pc? I believe PowerDVD would also work with MCE.
I'm assuming we're talking about XP MCE 2005 btw.
