You do realize how many laps can be done in 50 minutes?

Sprint cup record is 19.306 sec. (98.084 mph)

I am guessing the race winner will end up doing between 115-125 laps

I will change my guess once I turn a few laps, lol  :P

I sure do realize it. That's why we have to set it up as a timed race, the server only supports up to 100 if going by laps.

 ;D

a version error? Intriguing.

There hasn't been a new patch out in the last couple days has there?

Server is running v1.2.1.2/2 ... seems to be current.

Which of course turns the focus onto the track...Don't think I will have any time to test until tomorrow unfortunately.

anybody having any luck with a setup for this track? I ran a race with the AI at 98% and started getting lapped after 10 minutes...:(

I'm getting the same incompatible track error.  Works SP though.

Yeah, I am getting same track error.  SP works as well for me.

My setup won't help.  I am running 18th-20th @ 98% AI.  Can't get a lap under 17sec without light fuel tank.    >:(

Yeah same here. This one is going to take some serious pit strat. Right side tires start falling off after 10 minutes if you start with a full tank.

Ok, I believe it was suffering from the same issue that Sliverstone79 had.

Please save the attached GDB file to the Martinsville track folder (should prompt to overwrite the original) ... and give it another shot at joining the server...

It varies from track to track. I'm thinking no higher than 96 myself. Will see how it goes once we have ballast and fuel etc.

oh man that was rough ... good job working that high line Bret.

:) Another happy podium for me, some great racing all around really, aside from ai mishaps

Dicing it up with Chitty and Buz was a blast, then trying to stay ahead of Buz at the end was tough because i did not take tires for my second stop.

Fun track, non stop action, loved it, the car was extremely good in traffic I just wish my fellow humans were alittle more competitive. Hopefully we can run here again sometime with more equal cars,  anyone else think that maybe we should cut the weight in half at ovals.
I noticed everyone gave me a ton of room, I'm not sure if that was because my car was fast or because of what happened at round 3. I thank everyone, but it may have been too much, just holding your line is enough, no need to slow down or go way off line.

On to Monaco, I have never run good there, should be interesting.

Can only speak for myself ... I haven't had blue flags all that often (thankfully!) so it was kind of a special occasion, lol.

I was giving everyone "lots" of room because I was "so" off the pace.  By lap 40 they just handed me a blue flag on my way past the stand.   :(

I've got an idea to fix that... how bout no more ovals?
