I have been seriously slacking in the creative department lately, apologize for that but had to make something for Monaco, more to come.

Missed ya Kav.

Buz man we all did a crime scene investigation session to figure out what happened to you.  The replays were reviewed, speedometer was analyzed, skid marks were measured, spectator bodies were autopsied and we've got nothing.  Hope it was just a loss of focus and everything is all good.

Tough deal man.  Sorry.

Congrats again Bretware!  You're making a hell of a comeback.

Well I feel bad to have wasted folk's time with the CSI ... I suicided.

I've had (am having) a particularly intense week both at work and with the family and just wasn't up to dealing with Moncao. Although admittedly it didn't help that my pedals slid so far across the floor that I was having to lift my chin to clear the steering wheel either. And that situation that led to me habitually smacking the wall and coming almost to a dead stop in Rascasse a few times. Even though I seemed to catch back up to Bret I was ultimately overwhelmed by everything and had to just walk away and pour myself a nice soothing Ovaltine.

I look forward to reading some race recaps ... How did Ez make out after the early damage he took?

Congrats Bretware!!  This is becoming a habit.     :(

......and CHITty, right behind him with 75 kilos in tow.....NICE!

Buz - you will get em' next time.  Keep your chin up.   ;)

EZ - nice job keeping with it.  Traffic was "not" cooperative, so 4th place after your early stop is quite an achievement .  You were catching me quick after the pit stop.

I could use a "fun" race to break the cycle for a bit.
Minis, musclecars or something different...   no points, just fun....

Is anyone else interested?

Was a great race after my drift, so glad you where able to get around me BP, would have sucked to take you out like that. Had some nerves after that, was stuck behind the same AI for a while, but after i got some new tires i got used to the car much more and was able to get through them. Was pretty fun "leading" from a lap behind getting finding a way around the AI as Bret followed. Its a seriously intense track, had maybe two spots to overtake comfortably.

Not sure how Chitty can carry weight like that, certainly helps with the evening out the field and also making people work more before the race.

Not looking forward to weight at Zandy but that will be another fun race since i actually know it pretty well now. Thanks for the pointers in tuning Bret!

We should check out the Camaro Cup cars, I'm not much into american cars but they seem like a fun race car.

Interesting stuff, I'm really glad nobody was damaged beyond repair.

I would totally be up for something completely different ... Tonight's no good but maybe friday. Camaros or Muscle Cup would be cool for sure. Or something just ridiculous like Minis and Monza lol.

I will not be able to make it tomorrow night.

I was thinking next Wed and bumping back GP7 races.  That way maximum participation can be assured.

This may be out of the question or the schedule may be too tight.  It was just my first thought.  I am open to whatever the group likes.

I will start a thread with some car and track choices, we can sort out the time and place in the near future.

Kav, they are called Superkarts.

250cc / 2-stroke / twin cylinder / approx 60-70hp / 6 speed / 150 mph+

Not too popular here in the states.  Europe is where most are located.
I would love to gets my paws on one of these, however a used well maintained package goes for about $16-$25K, where as a 125cc shifter package is roughly $3-$7K.

I went to VIR a couple of years ago and watched a SK endurance race.  They hold track records at a few US road courses.

Check this out.  This has a bunch of info in the video.

There are plenty of on-board views on youtube.

These for the truly BRAVE.
