Quote
"Over the years, we have evaluated most of the major sim racing titles," I am told. "Some too small, some too closed and some uncooperative. Another, more recent addition, is little more than hype," my host says with a wry smile.

You take that quote to be a shot at F1 2010?

I definitely don't see F1 2010 being anymore of a pure F1 simulator than I see Dirt 2 being a pure simulation of dirt racing.  I bet you it's going to be fun though.

I honestly have no clue. I more generally wondered, overall, who was which ... small, closed, uncooperative...wish they'd gotten specific.

F1 2010 would be the furthest from being considered a F1 simulator. There are no mechanical failures, limited control over the car in the pit.

Now if they want to test a car in the rain then F1 2010 would be the closest thing to a true taste of a wet track with the smart track technology.
