Title: External Hard Drive Recommendations Post by: rip|CoyotezEye on October 28, 2010, 11:26:27 AM Figured with my ever growing Movie & TV show collection I should think about picking up a External HD. One of my (2) Internal HDs is almost maxed at 320 Gigs worth. And no thats not Porn LOL.
Looking for something with 1TB I guess. Something easy to use / transfer data to. And cheaper the better. Not sure what a 1TB Ext. Drive goes for. But $75 or less would be great. Even better if you can find it on Amazon. Title: Re: External Hard Drive Recommendations Post by: rip|MightyMax on October 28, 2010, 03:07:38 PM And no thats not Porn LOL. Denial ... denial... denial... OK.. just kidding... unless the Ripper chaps pictures count as porn... :-) I do see very good deals on http://slickdeals.net/ from time to time... Maybe I will hold off till BF. Does Amazon do BF sales?
Title: Re: External Hard Drive Recommendations Post by: rip|buzinator on October 29, 2010, 07:07:41 AM Amazon does do BF ... in fact they are currently doing min-BF's each week until the real one (via Gold Box) ... though I don't see any HDD's listed so far.
I'd stay the hell away from Seagate personally, WD or Samsung for me. Also 'Cavalry' brand uses WD drives. |
