Cars: - Determine desired Fuel burn multiplier Korea example ... 45L tank good for about 19 laps @ x1 ... estimated GP race length 23 ~ 24. Korea: - Indianapolis Motor Speedway: - Formula Master AI speed test (http://www.enterf1.com/images/track-maps/detailed-500/yeongam.png) Title: Re: Preseason Test # 3 - Korea & Indinanapolis Post by: rip|buzinator on November 28, 2010, 11:20:07 AM Just tested Korea with a large AI Grid (20 cars total) ... no problems.
Title: Re: Preseason Test # 3 - Korea & Indinanapolis Post by: rip|buzinator on November 29, 2010, 04:47:11 PM Just tested Indy.
Positives: - I do still have my mod of Indy, fixing the wall pop out prob. - I did figure out a way to make the AI competitive, so no ballast needed. Negatives: - The tops speed of the FM car is about 162.5mph, this is reached very easily and very little can be done to improve one's time. - You have to REALLY like the sound of the rev limiter, since top speed is reached almost immediately after exiting a corner. - Drafting has little to no effect due to terminal velocity being reached early. We may want to revisit Puebla. Or give Eurospeedway a shot. Title: Re: Preseason Test # 3 - Korea & Indinanapolis Post by: rip|buzinator on November 30, 2010, 01:49:36 PM Bret expressed a desire to keep at least one ... I'm ok with that personally, the issue for me is the lack of variety, not many exist for Race07.
Title: Re: Preseason Test # 3 - Korea & Indinanapolis Post by: rip|Bretware on November 30, 2010, 11:01:49 PM Sorry I had to bail, got a new welder today, a Miller 180. Once they got it setup I had to play with it and couldn't stop and ended up turning a hand truck into a cart for it. Sweet machine, the 1948 willy dragster project is back on track.
See you guys next week, sorry about the tap BP. Title: Re: Preseason Test # 3 - Korea & Indinanapolis Post by: bpbriles on December 01, 2010, 07:05:46 AM No worries Bret.
Not the easiest track to learn braking points..... especially off line. Nice welder by the way. I have been learning the art for a few of years now...... ...and I'm still not very good. :'( Gimme some details on your project. Sounds interesting.
