Title: Aimbot beware! Post by: rip|GunarySarge on November 28, 2010, 08:02:59 PM Just a heads-up guys, was in a FFA server tonight and there was one guy using an aimbot. It was real bad, he was just running through the level and headshotting everone >:( So if one guy has it you can bet lots more will be downloading this rubbish right now ::). Sorry to be the bearer of bad news 8)

If you did, it's not only fun to watch, but you can share it, and hopefully get their Steam account banned from on-line play... Most of the kids do not realize ALL of there Steam games under their account will be banned ... :-) Title: Re: Aimbot beware! Post by: rip|GunarySarge on November 29, 2010, 08:32:44 AM Just had a look Mighty, but alas it was not recorded >:( Does it record random games? I reported him through my recent player list and then I rejoined the server and advised all players to do the same. Just hope this is not going to be a MW2 all over again.
Title: Re: Aimbot beware! Post by: rip|MightyMax on November 29, 2010, 01:40:12 PM They can cheat .... But this time we can ban them locally on our server at least. And so can other servers, so their list of servers to play on will get smaller and smaller until hopefully Steam does an account ban and ends there "fun" so to speak.
I still do not understand what they see in it... It has to get old after the first 5 min. I would also start to feel guilty, and loose any interest in the game (no challenge, no fun). But, I guess it takes all kinds, and I'm not them ... Title: Re: Aimbot beware! Post by: rip|CarlitosWay on December 01, 2010, 08:25:14 AM This is sad when someone again has to cheat to say they are better then everyone, to me this has to be the most childish when u have to cheat to play.
They cant compete. By the way i have a ZERO tolerance for cheaters of any kind. |
