Title: Re: GET DA POPCORN!!!! Post by: rip|buzinator on January 06, 2011, 09:02:13 AM nice - what resolutions does that projector support?
Title: Re: GET DA POPCORN!!!! Post by: rip|mrkavanagh on January 06, 2011, 09:38:42 AM for $60? This is not a videophiles HT projector. LOL
# Portable, go-anywhere design Projector weighs 5.8 lbs. for convenient transport. # 480 x 240 resolution To reproduce lifelike images. # 1200 lumens of brightness and 1000:1 contrast ratio For bright images and noticeable contrast between white and black for excellent color saturation. # 120" viewable screen size (diagonal) For use with small or large groups. 6' projector distance and a 1.4:14 throw ratio range to reproduce wide images in their correct proportions. Looks like they raised the price back to $99 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Discovery+Expedition+-+Entertainment+Projector/1353032.p?id=1218252654348&skuId=1353032&st=discovery&contract_desc=null Title: Re: GET DA POPCORN!!!! Title: Re: GET DA POPCORN!!!! Post by: rip|mrkavanagh on January 12, 2011, 08:04:51 AM Here is a site that has some good projectors for a decent price. The bulbs are even under $50

Native resolution is only 1280 x 800 for that projector. The bulb is only good for 5000/3000 hours and the replacement costs $199. I would look at going with an LED projector. The bulb life is 10x longer. I am leaning between these 2 projectors http://www.chinavasion.com/projectors-home-theater/led-projector/ http://www.chinavasion.com/projectors-home-theater/cvake146/ |
