PvE is Player versus Everyone/Everything. This is the preferred play style. It keeps people from being beat up by other players for no apparent reason.
PvP is player versus player. This is more hardcore, and can get nasty. You can have your stuff looted and wind up with nothing, some jerks will camp spawn points to beat up on those that just die, etc. Not super enjoyable. |
