Ok. Think I'm gonna take the plunge and get a wheel. BUT, I need some feedback to help pick one. So, a few questions for you guys.

1. Is force feedback good enough now that I should get one?
2. Throttle on wheel stand, or pedals?
3. Favorite brands?

Any additional input would be sooooooo very much appreciated.

1. As a recent wheel owner I must say that the force feedback, at least in grid with a logitech momo, blew my socks off.  Nothing better when someone bumps you, you feel it in the steering wheel and you're fighting it back to keep your car going in the right direction.  Feels exactly like when people bump me on the highway trying to pass me and I have to steer out of a spin.  God hate it when that happens.

2. Haven't tried the using thottle on the wheel.  I'm digging the pedals, except for the time to get it set up.

wtf?

bRands he said, BRANDS ... ugh, do i have to ... no, i give up. it's not worth it. lol.

1. YES.
2. Throttle on WHAT now? If you're going to the lengths of getting a wheel, not using pedals seems to bring the whole concept undone.
3. Logitech Momo for the cheap option, G25 for the higher end.

I know there are guys that like to use Playstation controllers ... I don't have experience with it personally.
