and do the sun java test. it actually downloads files and shit. so its not measuring your burst speed.

A Happy New Year present from Comcast ... woke up today and noticed my torrents running at like 2x normal speed. Nearly fell over.



I've been sustaining these speeds for over an hour now, it's not just PowerBoost or Burst working on a single speedtest.
I guess the Fiber ISP's are finally lighting a fire under cable's ass. About f'ing time!


EDIT: I just ran Speakeasy's test ... holy crap.

I remember people posting this stuff when RCN was testing their network in some new markets.  People got an increase of speed that didn't pay for it.  It was only a test and didn't last too long.  Maybe a month or so.

You can always call and find out if yours was upgraded or if they are just testing it.

Now you can put up a server at your house now too.  Wink
