Hey whats up guys, Ok well I was jumping around on the quake wars forums last night and this morning and came across a few things I thought everyone should know about. 2 "fixes" have poped up sence the 1.2 patch.
Fix 1:
People noticed a pretty large decrease in image quality from patch 1.1 to 1.2. Here are comparing screen shots to show what to look for.

To Fix this problem drop your console down and type in set image_picMip to 1. Setting it to 1 is what it was in 1.1 but if you feel daring and want even higher resolution textures set it to 2. btw you have to restart the game to notice the effect.
Now for all you guys with multiple CPU's in your beastly rigs listen up. They added support (or better support) for multi cpu's. Drop your console down and type "r_useThreadedRenderer 2". People have noticed up to a 30% increase in performance with this set. This support was easily lost in the huge list of fixes in patch 1.2 and should not be overlooked.
I'll keep reading and keep you guys up to date if I find anything else out.
