I just love that show.

If you've never seen it I truly feel sorry for you.

Jeremy's a douchebag but i guess that's intentional ... otherwise love the show, love The Stig.

OMG you guys are awesome.

How are you watching it?  BBC America or through torrent downloads?

I just got BBC America recently thinking I wouldn't have to wait for a download anymore, but since they don't have the current season, edit it to add commercials, and change the music, I'm still doing the torrents.

Any interest in the american version starting up soon?  Think it's going to suck because half the fun for me is watching the interaction of those three while creating havoc.

I thought they did have the current season on BBC America ... that's weird about changing the music too, i had no idea.

I go to Finalgear.com every Sunday and download that day's episode.

I would definitely say download one of those and give it a watch.  I think you'd like it a lot more.  In fact, the quality of the torrent is much better than what's on tv.  I stream the downloaded torrent onto my HDTV and it looks better than what I get on BBC America!

Just curious, what kind of filesize is an episode?

i guess it's from a compressed (divx?) capture of an HD broadcast vs bbc america SD.

http://www.finalgear.com/shows/topgear/
The typical size is 700 MB for an hour (no commercials).

My understanding is that Top Gear has only done 1 HD show which was the Polar Special (which is a must see if you haven't seen it).  It is in a wide screen format though (640X352), while the BBC America version is 4:3.

Unfortunately, I don't think so.

Episode 1, Season 11
    *  In an effort to help viewers save money on fuel, Top Gear finds out which supercar is the most economical
    * Jeremy takes the Ferrari F430 Scuderia out onto the Top Gear track
    * James introduces Top Gear Stunt Man who’s first stunt is to jump a car off a ramp going backwards
    * The team is sent out to build their own cheap cop cars and are then given a series of tests
    * Star in a reasonably priced car: Friday/Sunday Night Project’s Alan Carr and Justin Lee Collins

Episode 2, Season 11
    *  In an effort to help viewers save money on fuel, Top Gear finds out which supercar is the most economical
    * Jeremy takes the Ferrari F430 Scuderia out onto the Top Gear track
    * James introduces Top Gear Stunt Man who’s first stunt is to jump a car off a ramp going backwards
    * The team is sent out to build their own cheap cop cars and are then given a series of tests
    * Star in a reasonably priced car: Friday/Sunday Night Project’s Alan Carr and Justin Lee Collins

Episode 3, Season 11
    *  Jeremy makes some smoke in the new Bentley Brooklands
    * Cheap Alfa Challenge: the boys are each given £1,000 to buy Alfa Romeos with which will be used in a series of challenges
    * James Corden and Mathew Horne of the BBC comedy Gavin & Stacey

Episode 4, Season 11
    *  In an epic bit of cinematography, Jeremy reviews the Alfa Romeo 8C around the track followed by the Stig giving it a lap time
    * Jeremy uses the new Nissan GT-R to race Richard and James in a bullet train across Japan
    * Star in a reasonably priced car: BBC news presenters Fiona Bruce and Kate Silverton

Episode 5, Season 11
    *  Jeremy races the Nissan GT-R around Japan’s legendary Fuji circuit and the Stig gives it a lap on the Top Gear Test Track
    * Both Jeremy and James bought large, old luxury cars while Top Gear was off the air, a Mercedes 600 ‘Grosse’ and a Rolls-Royce Corniche Coupe respectively, so they decided to compare them with a series of tests
    * Jeremy and Richard combine fox hunting and offroading with a race using a Diahatsu Terios
    * Star in a reasonably priced car: Peter Jones and Theo Paphitis from the Dragons’ Den

Episode 6, Season 11 - Last night's
    *  James drives the Mitsuoka Orochi and Mitsuoka Galue through downtown Tokyo
    * Richard examines the ugly Gumpert Apollo and the Stig gives it a lap of the Top Gear Test Track
    * Germany’s D-Motor television show challenges Top Gear to a series of competitions in Belgium
    * Star in a reasonably priced car: Jay Kay tries to beat Simon Cowell’s lap record

This is what BBC America has on their website as the episode "premiering" tonight:

Episode Three

Jeremy makes a splash when he opens a local swimming pool. Richard finds out what happens when you take the roof off an Aston Martin DB9 with the new DB9 Volante. James goes back to the '70s with the Maserati Bora, and Germany and Russia give their interpretations of the classic British sports car with the Weismann MF3 and TVR Tuscan 2. The Batmobile from Batman Begins is in the studio.

Episode Three premieres Monday, July 28th at 8/7c.

Which is the same as this: from Episode 3, Season 6.

    *  James reviews the 1970’s Maserati Bora and explains why it was such a great car for it’s time
    * Jeremy shows off his brand new Ford GT and Richard his new Morgan
    * Jeremy drives the Wiesmann MF3 Roadster and the TVR Tuscan II followed by the Stig taking them aroung the test track
    * The Top Gear crew check out the new Batmobile in their studio
    * Richard drives the amazing Aston Martin DB9 Volante, the DB9 convertible version
    * Jeremy was invited to open his local recently refurbished swimming pool, so he decides to show up in a 1976 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow which he first restores himself
    * Star in a reasonably priced car: Christopher Eccleston from Doctor Who

I DVR it every new episode.  I get it on channel 150.  Good show because they don't say that every car is great.  Honest opinions and very funny.

The best is when they did the motor home racing and destroyed them all.
