Well, I got an email this morning with my BF Heroes beta key. I won't be off work for another 4-5 hours. If I get some more keys, I'll be sure and let you guys know. I'll try to get some fraps tonight as well.

They are in phase II of the closed beta right now. I subscribed to test months ago to a site called qaboss.com and just finally got a key, but I don't think they are taking apps there anymore.

TBH, I'm a bit put off by the game at the moment. The movement feels wierd, the different load screens and status screens seem all disconnected and the gameplay just isn't really all that rivetting.

To make it worse, there are issues with the way they setup the security for the phase II beta testers like me. I can't even log into the forums and read about current issues or post issues. It's been that way for over a week now. So basically I can play, and deal with crap, but not really have any part of the "testing" process until they fix the forums. Honestly...I can't log into forums? Heh.

Of course, having Far Cry 2 come out recently, as well as the COD5 beta does nothing to increase my enthusiasm about testing BF Heroes.

Understandable.

That seems odd that the movement would feel weird, given the long history of the BF series I would have thought that aspect could be done in the programmers' sleep. Hope they fix their frickin forums so that observations like this can be made to them.

I will ask Grey or Falcon when I see them.  They don't check the forums that often.

I read that there will be no official release of this game, it will be a quite release whereas they just keep giving out keys.
