I'm going to an Xbox lan in a few weeks.  Thing is I can't use the console controls for crap.  Instead of getting whipped in Halo all night, I was going to buy a conversion thing so I can use a mouse and keyboard.   Something like this:

A quick search reveals a few places that sell them.  I looked on Amazon, however, and the reviews for at least one product were mixed.  Some said it worked fine with some tinkering.  Others said the coverter was a brick and that company support is non-existent.

I checked the link and it works for me.
