I wonder why the processor went from a min. of Core 2 Duo 2.0 to just a Quad core, with no listed speed. ??

I assume because any quad core would work.....

I am hoping that my Dual Core will work. BTW what the hell is the difference between a Core 2 duo and a Dual core. Shit they both have two cores Huh?

Well I thought a quad core was better for multitasking (running multiple programs etc) and not as good for gaming. ??  But if you had 4 - 2.0 GHz processors that would be better than 2 - 2.0 GHz processors.

I believe the Core 2 Duo is the newer technology to the Dual Core.  Basically the same but not really - considering the chip set.  I don't think Intel makes the Dual Core anymore.??

that was the case early on, but now they are developing the games to spread the process out over multiple cores

what is your current processor?
