Zandy was just a visit since we flew into Amsterdam, it was right there, no way could I pass that up. Missed DTM & F3 by a day, doh.

But will be sitting AT EAU ROUGE, so yeah, there'll be pics of it!

Oh also, am staying in St. Vith, the town used as the setting for the Battle of the Bulge map in BF1942 ... every damned thing out here is historic somehow.

That's exactly the scenario ... Getting ready to head to the track right now.

Being Spa, it is of course really really rainy ... which I'm not super thrilled about. Race should be good as a result i guess.

rain today was out of control ... there was lightening too.

GP2 Quali got red flagged due to heavy rain, it was nuts, and utterly miserable i have to say. Thankfully there was a spell in the afternoon during F1 Practice 2 when it was actually sunny.

Still, eau Rouge is awesome ... i have a new respect for Radillon too. it is crazy steep plus twisty.

The Renaults make a weird cruncing/grinding sound thru eau rouge ... no other cars do it. idk if they're bottoming or changing gears under weird g loading or what. (noise is similar to thesound of toyota traction control, if anybody witnessed that in person).

Ahh ... Between weather, disgusting crowds and the threat of tunnel collapse I haven't made over that way.

A Canadian guy staying in the b&b with us was there last year and says it is a really good spot.

Yeah you are in for some "miles"  on your tootsies, to see all of spa.   Road America just about killed my feet when I made my one trip up there.  RA is about as long, but has nowhere near the elevation changes of spa.

Hey was that you crossing the fence in Q2 or 3 today that caused the red flag??     Wink

Have a great time and be safe!!  Sounds like you are gonna have crazy weather even for spa's standards.

Kav-  They have ran those X-bows in the Race of Champions. They are nice little rides!
