WTF #1 ... The Pit Limiter - seems to work in some way that's different to what I anticipate. I engage it but still seem to be able to accelerate. I can't really tell if it's on or not.

WTF #2 ... The Pit Lane itself - where the hell does it start & end? It has white line at the beginning and one at the exit. I observe them, yet I always get a penalty for speeding. I'm utterly confused/bewildered/enraged.

WTF #3 ... Front wing adjustment - I understand that you can set it via the menu keys (I bound it to the number keypad) ... I guess I need to RTFM because I don't feel any confidence as to whether my selections have engaged or not. And does it reset after a while? I set the front wing to max UP, then go into the menu a couple laps later (because I'm not feeling the bite) and it seems to back to a neutral position. Is that how it works? damn.

To me, it seems there are a few very important things that have extremely poor feedback/confirmation indicators. That leaves you guessing as to whether your inputs were noticed by the game or not.

eg, Your engineer talks ... a lot. Frequently inappropriately/unnecessarily. But make a Pit-IN request and ... [crickets]. All you have is a subtle red line on the car status display. WTF.

Response #1 doesn't seem to have read the part about me observing the line. And having supposedly hit the limiter button it shouldn't be physically possible for me to increase back up to speed over the limit. i just don't get it.

Actually, I just remembered, on the way out, you get an urgent message to turn off the limiter, and moments after it's followed up with the penalty message.

If that guy smart talks me one more time im slamming this rig into the monaco harbor and signing for Virgin. Yes I know about the damn gravel asshole, yes I get it about the whole dirty air thing already! Wait he works for Virgin to??WTF?

anyways,

Yeah I to have frustrations with the limiter, and braking for the box. With the limiter I just press it way earlier than I need to, and wait to release it a good while. I think the line has a little limiter sign next to it.

Braking for the pit box is so annoying! Im probably going to switch it to auto, you just have no feel for the car when the computer is driving you down the pits so it is hard to tell, on top of that the computer has no organic movement on the wheel just jerks to the right aggressively. The real cars stop much more fluidly it seems.

Another thing that annoys me is the amount of flats, I have got two in two races. I was getting my pace up pretty nicely at Bahrain and a flat ruined it, maybe they should tell you to change off the option sooner.

At Melbourne I was loving the wet racing until I had to change to wets, I pitted as he told me it is really coming down now, and they put slicks on, the asshole radio guy told me it would be wet tyres, well now I know about the quick menu. I got a flat on lap 3, damn you bridgestone!

Someone should make a patch that replaces all the engineer radio messages to r2d2 soundeffects Smiley

at least he would be able give me some useful split time info!

"wait to release it" ... hang on ... you have to hold it down???

That would explain why I click it and then am not subject to a limit.
But then when you exit it's on without me holding it down, i have to click it ... so ... "WTF?"
