It was an awesome race - the whole way.
Think twice about last minute tinkering next time! lol.

I have to check the replay ... I think Bret & I mixed it up pretty good ... was fricking nervous making my move on the outside like i did too.

Also looked like the 3 of you guys were getting pretty crazy off the line and thru that first sector...

Yeah it was very nervy at the start knowing Bretware was breathing down my neck, had to keep to the half of the track I was in at most times just because I was not sure where he would go.

I was running some decent times at the start and trying desperately to keep up with Bretware after he passed me, but I made some little mistakes and decided to try and keep everything smooth and it cost me some time.

My tires where dropping off quickly, started causing some small mistakes at the end of the race when the fronts where way down, going to have to figure out how to keep the tire wear down so I can run faster longer.

I was relieved to see BP pit when I did I was sure he might be able to leap frog me, I was able to keep the gap once he came out after I did.

What kind of strat was everybody running?  I was running 14/13 lap stints with 4 tires @ my stop. 

It was nearly impossible to see where everyone stopped, from "way back there".

I'd calculated a L19 stop, but when Bret got his new tires he was eating me alive and I had to come in early, like L16 i think.

Because of tire wear I figured equal runs, I ran the 13 first because I figured less of a chance to see AI, cut the fuel in half also to help tire wear and lighten up the car.
Buz was on a mission, and his pit strategy was good because it put him on new tires with the least amount of fuel, I suspect thats when he set fast lap, but he had to have a fast car to make the whole thing work.

Ok, so I was not far off on stat....   EZ, did you last the whole race on front tires?

Was everyone else taking 2 or 4 tires?

Mine were pretty worn after lap 14!  Especially the front left.

Yes I had the same front left wear almost down to nothing. I took all four tires in my stop. The fronts went fast that's why if you look at the gap to leader graph in the results at the end of the race I was slowing down considerably

Just a standard song, don't read into it to much, but if you want to, the drivers were the candles in the wind, except Buz he had the long burn going.
