i run ddr2 up to 1066 ram...my motherboard can run up to 8 gigs(4 slots)

I priced it out quickly here:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007611%20600006042%20600006061%20600006112&IsNodeId=1&name=DDR2%201066%20%28PC2%208500%29

is it worth upgrading from 4 gigs to 8 gigs? same speed?

Do you have a 64bit OS? Can you run dual channel memory on your motherboard? How much memory do you use when your in-game?

yea if you're not planning on any big upgrades I think it is worth the price. But for performance I would stick with a dual channel kit.
