Trott and I were both experiencing connections issues on the vent server Sun 8/28 around 7:30 pacific

I see some lines in the log suggesting lag ... unusual.

I've restarted the server, in case it was a Vent prob.
Let me know if it happens again, perhaps with pings and tracerts for the vent server address if you think of it.
