Ok...seeing my COD4 was dead, I went and bought the FrontLines Fuel of War.  Long story short, either updating windows or playing Command&Conquer crashedCOD4 so I started playing FrontLines.

Frontlines is very much line Tribes for anyone who can remember back then.

You can use heavy armor (SLOW) or fly around in heli ro fixed wing (Takes practice).

Much larger maps require the use of vehicles to get to point on the front linesbefore your enemy.  Once you reach objectives you take one or two hits in your armored vehicle and jump before she blows (heheheh he said she blows).  


One good thing is the more people you elimnate, themore your experience in your class grows.  So if you are ground support...you can place automated robot weapons near your  defence points.

Check it out... and lets get a forum and team started for Front lines.

I hope to have COD4 fixed this week...New install of legal XP, New Nvidia 8800, AMD 6000+ 4 gig better fix the problem.
