So I think one of my hard drives is going on me.
Heres what I currently have

(2) Western Digital Caviar RE WD1600YS 160GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive -Bare Drive

When I built the system I had them put in RAID0. But the RAID failed on me, maybe due to this drive being shotty. Since then I left them alone & not in RAID. Ive been mainly using one of the drives as my boot drive & the other as my storage for movies & music.

I was thinking of going to a SSD. But dont know a lot about them. I read they are supposed to be faster than having (2) Raptors in RAID. I want something that is fast for loading but wont break the bank in cost.

I am not as technical as most of you guys. But do know some things. So keep that in mind
