Agree with gradual ballast.

I vote for no ballast for round 1.

What do you guys think about including the one race drop as we go in the points total, the way we have it now the driver leading points, may not really be leading when the drop is figured in, and that can put the weight on the wrong driver.

I vote half of normal ballast for race one, based on final GP7 standings

I support this.

You're the one that's probably going to end up doing all the number crunching, so if you're OK with it, I'm ok with it. This way we'll also have a true reflection of standings throughout the season, helping each of us determine what we need to do to achieve our goals at any given point.

I like it.

So, for the Ballast intro ... we're looking at half-levels for Race 1 (based on GP7 finish order) and Race 2 will be back to normal levels?

Race 1
 - 35kg (BW)
 - 20kg (EZ)
 - 10kg (CY)
 -  5kg (BZ)

Server weight increments are 5kg ... so that's about the closest we can get, I've rounded down.

Race 2
 - 75kg
 - 45kg
 - 25kg
 - 10kg
