Nice way to jump right into our BF2 server with just a doubble click

Modify a new shortcut of BF2 and rename it to Join the rip| server etc ....

"C:\Games\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +restart +playerName XXXXXXXXXX +playerPassword XXXXXXXXXX +joinServer 66.135.35.145

Need to change the x's to your playerName and playerPassword that you use to log into BF2 (it's very specific, if you have a capital letter in your name, it will have to be here to).  The +restart skips all the intro "stuff" no need to delete or mod the intro movie files.

If you have it correct it will still take some time to login with a black screen, but you just sit back and wait and you automatically join our server.


One bug that i found is the music volume seems to go to default until you fully join the server.  I have my music turned way down in my login profile.   Oh well, I get to hear the music while the action bar goes across the screen.  :-) 



If you want one that just loads up quickly ...   aka skip the movies and login into BF2 only, but not join the server, just create another shortcut and drop the "+joinServer 66.135.35.145" from the end of the properties of the shortcut.
