Last night I did some tinkering with the graphic settings on my PC because i never felt like I was getting as good as graphics in GTRe that I do in games like COD4. I went in NVIDIA control panel and told it to override game settings and let the card do the settings. I jacked every setting all the way up in NVIDIA control panel and got 80fps and extremely beautiful graphics.

You might want to give this a try.
