I'm a big RPG guy (like it better than 1st person shooter).  How good is this game, what does it compare to, and should I even consider it now ----i.e. is something else better comming out in the near future???

I am actually intrested myself.  I prefer a deep RPG (I love crafting) to the Warcraft type, although I think WOW is a blast.  If we have enough clan guys playing I might think about getting EQII.  I am currently waiting to play Age of Conan rather than starting any other MMORPGs.

EQ2 is a hoot as long as SOE keeps their mits off of it.  The Walkers Guild on the Blackburrow server can always use more folks
