Well I want to play back with the clan guys but COD4 is not my cup of tea.  I play it occasionally on a LAN and I just don't care for it.
With nothing else on the horizon, I'm thinking Far Cry 2 might be worth checking out.  I'm just hoping it has a good multiplayer mode.

Release date of October 2008, Amazon has it listed as XP/Vista, but that is all I can find.

singleplayer apperars awesome
mulitplayer seems like it would be a sniper haven.

Did that guy say (imply) that the custom maps would be ranked?

Only downfall is no air vehicles, might have to go to BF3 for heli and planes.

I can live without airplanes if the game is good.
There is no info on BF3 and nothing was announced at E3 that I know of.  I am not holding my breath for anything from EA at this point.
