At Oulton Park we tested a new pit lane rule ... which I have tried to describe in a formal manner below ...

... having tried it, what do we all think?

Much like the engine restart rule, the driver must permit the game to automatically manage use of the pit limiter. It will automatically engage upon entry to the pit lane and automatically disengage when exiting.

No pit entry speed requirements are specified. However, accidents can cause issues for following cars that may also be attempting to enter the pits, it is requested that pit entry be conducted in an orderly, controlled manner. Drivers obstructing the pit entrance may be subject to protest and resultant penalties.

I'm for it, just make it clear if we are allowed to take the limiter off or not, such as during exit. But it requires some practice pits for sure as you are flying into your spot and its hard to judge because you don't really have to bring the car to a screaming halt like that anywhere else on the track.

You feel that's not achieved by the current text?

...the driver must permit the game to automatically manage use of the pit limiter. It will automatically engage upon entry to the pit lane and automatically disengage when exiting...

ok, just checking ... if it needs rewording now would be a good time to do it. But if that's working for you, all good.

... next question ... are you guys able to see the poll above? Just making sure there isn't a permissions hiccup preventing people from using it.

What's the rule when AI pushes you off the track into the pit lane? Shocked

Just kidding... I seriously doubt this will happen again. Grin
