To SSD or not to SSD???
«

Of course I am still waiting on my refund from the jerks that sent me a dead pc, but I am still looking over newegg and selecting the parts to order to build my new pc.
I currently have this CPU selected
AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core
My question is, should I get a better CPU or stick with the one above and get this SSD

the 128gb seems unnecessary to me.
But SSD does seem necessary. why not get a 40 or 64gb ssd for OS and a couple apps and a 2TB HDD for storage/bulk apps.

I have a 64G, most of my programs are on a platter drive and I still only average about 20G's free.
There are programs you will want to install on your C drive, like utility's and background programs, it will speed up response and boot times.
