Hey all,

I played EQ1 until early 2000 when I stopped with a level 40 dark elf cleric.  The game was great fun but it became too all consuming for me.  I still miss MMORPGs but now its mostly BF2142.

Whatever happened to EQ1?  Does it still have a robust user base?  Is it a different type of player than EQ2 or WoW?  Older maybe?

And I'm curious about the walker guild.  I remember a guild with a similar name in EQ1.  THeir primary purpose was walking through the world rather than powerleveling.  They just liked to go places.  Is that similar to what you do?
