COD4 Stopped working....not getting Cannot Find Server

When I start COD4 I get an Explorer window with the title, "Cannot Find Server"

The contents of the page is the standard HTML warning saying to check Internet settings and such.

Well everything else on the machine works and I have reinstalled twice still getting the same results.

Any clues?

What OS u running?

Do you meet the system requirements for cod4?

did u have cod4 on their before and it crashed and that's the reason for the reinstall?  If so, try delete the saved files, or back them up and move them.

Those are some basic questions right off the top of my head, if u can get some more details i can try and help some more.

Its been fine for about 3 months...

Just went to play yesterday and got the error!  Like magic...

Justbought Frontlines.....Will let you all know how it is.

sounds like your firewall isnt letting anything go through cod4 wise
