Well, I was bummed that I couldn't join the same server as someone on my Xfire friend list so I decided to poke around on the Xfire forums.

I guess at the moment, joining a Grid server from Xfire is not supported.

Here's a thread over at Xfire regarding the issue:

Hopefully they can get this working. That would help ALOT!
