Awww.... Drifting is awesome! It's just a different skill set than racing.  I mean the entire scoring system for drifting is all about being flashy, smoke, angles and apex. Speed is hardly an issue but it's still an interesting 'sport'. I saw the video, and that is actually very impressive...  I mean the rear entered the corner first, and yet as pretty as you please he shifted, and hit the apex perfectly. I always tried to catch when Speedvision used to air the D1 (Pretty sure it was D1) qualifiers and championships. Katsuhiro Ueo was always my favorite in his Hachi Roku! Cheesy

Don't mind Chitty, he hates anything he hasn't mastered in a video game. Tongue

Yeah it's figure skating versus speed skating.  I've always thought figure skating was... well... you know.

I saw a drift race about 2 weeks ago.  It was recorded on my DVR after one of my fishing shows.  Anyway, at first I thought was is this "Fast and the Furious" Tokyo Drift BullS^@#?
Lazy as I am, kept watching and got really interested in the race.  Just like a normal race but all the cars were drifting the entire course.
Needless to say I was left wanting more when the record timed out.

If you are looking for that circuit Cawdor, I believe the race was on the Versus channel.
