I wonder if someone has a trojan and/or virus.  No "official" IT dept.
We have someone maintain the network + his "real" job.

We use eTrust Threat Management Agent, simply b/c it doesn't bog down the p.c.s like McAfee and Norton.  We also use Super AntiSpyware on all p.c.s.

I wish I knew what was wrong with the network, but the "IT guy" says that the internet is working (i.e. - not a "real" problem here) and it could be on Comcast's end...AND if the business across the street switched to Comcast business, then our connection would decrease.

nah it doesn't work like that anymore.....remember i share cable internet with at least 300 residents in my apartment complex. The apartments supply free internet. I get burst speeds up to 12mb/s
