Nvidia has released the Beta 285.79 driver

It includes several bug fixes and performance improvements for Battlefield 3.

-- Fixes cases of irregular performance (stuttering) primarily seen on DirectX 10 GPUs. The fix improves the performance of both DX10 and DX11 GPUs.
-- Fixes shadow map corruption seen with DirectX 10 GPUs.
-- Fixes cases of black corruption lines/triangles with DirectX 10 GPUs.

Has anyone using Dx 11 tried these?  When I read teh original release it seemed to be mostly directed towards Dx 10.  I have a buddy using Dx 10 who said they were worth it for him.  But I hesitate to install a beta when I ahve had no problems with the Bf3 day one drivers nVidia released.

No worries, but thanks for the response!  I just updated the client... gonna test tonight and then maybe take a gamble and update the drivers... rolling back is so much easier then it used to be, don't know why I have delayed Smiley
