pub server community building

I understand I am new here, but the pub seems to be struggling. The two biggest things holding back the pub server are 1) the lack of people on during the day and 2) the stacking
It fills very quickly but sits empty most of the time during the day, only real solution is getting a few people to start playing there even when there are not many people, eventually there will be enough regulars to jumpstart it without rip's help.
As for team stacking, it is a real problem. This is made worse by the fact that not all maps are fully balanced and the fast pace at which you can win on some. The teams can quickly get out of balance: I have seen it be 8 v 5 a number of times and nothing happens till the next map. But more often then not it is an imbalance of skill. If all rip members start setting a good example by balancing teams, I think you will see a lot more regulars popping up on the server and potentially more applications to the clan.

Not sure what to say about point one. However I have noticed the server does fill pretty quickly when there is a minimum of about 6 people playing. So trying during the day to organize those that do get on to migrate to our server would work out.
Mainly I want to post about point two. I understand how frustrated pubs can get about clan stacking, I didn't enjoy it too much either before I joined this clan. At first I thought the clan stack was fun once I joined, but eventually it becomes redundant and not much of a challenge.
I would also like it to be balanced so it is fun equally for mainly our members and then for pubs. Tonight however I liked how Ripper put it, something like "being the nerds vs the jocks in dodgeball" (BTW Ripper, Patches O'Houlihan) So, pretty much I agree, that balance by skill will help and probably we won't be seeing 4-5 people disconnecting from the losing side every round.

on most servers pub people are allowed to call a vote to balance teams based on xp, there is also a vote to balance randomly. We might consider allowing those.
