ok guys heres the deal im looking for the best way to remote into another computer that only is on dialup(im on cable)...any p[rograms you recomend... preferably very cheap....does it even work with dialup?

Yes i know dialup, its my mom's pc...not mine honest , lol

what OS?

not sure about pricing but we use GotoMyPC at work ... plus one other one that I can't remember right now, doh.

If there was any stability of IP address I'd recommend just using Windows Remote Desktop, but being dialup she's probably getting a totally different IP each itme.

why a vnc program....isn't remote access to dial-up asking a little to much

who said anything about vnc? not me.

Windows XP RDP uses very low bandwidth and is ok over dial up imo, if you configure it right.
However, it requires no router or firewall ... which i'm guessing is a normal setup for a dialup pc.
